We are a husband and wife
photo and Video duo.
The start of our love story
We were both music students at the University of Washington, which meant we spent a lot of time together in classes. We sat next to each other for two quarters without really getting to know each other. I (Sola) noticed Sam’s gentle and sweet nature, but he didn’t let on that he was interested in me at the time.
Then, one day, I needed a guitar teacher, and guess who stepped up? Yep, Sam did! Little did we know that those guitar lessons would change everything. I was completely blown away by his skills and kindness, and fell head over heels for him. Sam also started to develop feelings for me. Before we knew it, our one-hour sessions turned into two- or three-hour jam sessions.
How it all began
It all started when we got married in 2015. Our own wedding photographers were an amazing husband and wife duo, and we were absolutely smitten with their job. We couldn't help but daydream about the joy they brought to people's lives by freezing time and creating images that transported them back to those magical moments.
Less than a year later, Sam turned to Sola and said, "You know what? You should quit your job and pursue wedding photography!" and bought our first DSLR camera. And just like that, with zero knowledge about cameras or photography, we took the biggest leap of faith to dive headfirst into this incredible world. The rest, as they say, is history.
Fast forward seven years, and we've had the privilege of photographing over 200 weddings. It's been an absolute whirlwind, and we've loved every single moment of it. What truly fuels our passion are the connections we make with each couple we work with.

In February 2021, our lives changed forever for the better, when we welcomed our incredible boy into the world. Our boy, Grey, is one-of-a-kind. Just like his mama, he's got this uncanny ability to know exactly what he wants. Alongside his humor and creativity, he shares his daddy's meticulousness and discerning nature. He constantly reminds us of the joy of life! We feel incredibly lucky to call him our son, and our hearts overflow with gratitude each and every day.
Since Greyson entered our lives, our photography sessions and weddings have taken on a whole new level of meaning. The experience of being parents has taught us to cherish and prioritize every precious moment. As a result, we've become better photographers. We've learned the value of time and the significance of capturing those meaningful moments that tug at the heartstrings. With each shutter on our cameras, we approach our craft with intention, savoring the emotions and connections that make each moment unique.
